The Arab Council honors the steadfastness of the resisting youth of Jerusalem in the face of the brutal oppression and terrorism of the Zionist occupation forces, and celebrates their victory in the battle of wills, amid Arab abandonment and an international silence.

The Arab Council holds the occupying army fully responsible for the acts of violence, incitement, and provocation committed by extremist Zionist groups at the gates of the Old City, which led to numerous attacks on unarmed Palestinian citizens, resulting in widespread injuries and the arrest of dozens. These actions also included the siege of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the disruption of the rights of Jerusalemites to worship during this blessed month.

The Council considers the victory of the youth of Jerusalem, who imposed their will on the most powerful force in the region, a lesson for all peoples and a slap in the face to the choices of Arab rulers who have betrayed the Palestinian cause, tarnished the dignity of their peoples, and sold their integrity through normalization processes aimed not at peace, but at maintaining their thrones and continuing their domination over their people.

And the night shall surely pass.
