The Arab Council expresses its strong condemnation of the crime committed by the Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft, which targeted a detention center in Saada, managed by the Houthi militia. This crime resulted in the deaths of no less than 100 people, as reported by the International Red Cross.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Arab Council believes that this heinous crime, which adds to a series of atrocities committed by the coalition forces over the past months and years by targeting innocent civilians, civilian facilities, and infrastructure in many areas of Yemen, constitutes war crimes and crimes against humanity. It demands an international investigation into those who issued the orders for these crimes and those who carried them out, outside the framework of the laws of war.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Arab Council expresses its full solidarity with the Yemeni people, caught between the hammer of the Saudi-Emirati coalition, which seeks to control their destiny, and the anvil of the Houthi militia, which targets cities, displacement camps, and commits all forms of violations and mistreatment of citizens outside the rule of law.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Council calls on the United Nations, the international community, and international organizations to exert pressure to condemn these crimes, push for an investigation into those responsible for them, and issue strict resolutions to prevent further attacks on civilians, while enabling the Yemeni people to exercise their right to self-determination, free from any external guardianship.<\/span><\/p>\n
