The Arab Council Foundation releases an investigative report documenting violations of migrants’ rights in Libya, detailing cases directly observed on the ground—whether migrants reside in local communities, are held in smuggling warehouses, or are detained in official facilities. The report relies heavily on testimonies from affected migrants and provides analysis within the local and international law framework regarding the committed violations. Practical recommendations are also presented to Libyan authorities, international human rights and migration organizations, and origin countries of migrants and refugees.

The report has been submitted to several relevant entities, including:

  • Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Libya, United Nations
