Rights and freedoms, including the freedom to express opinion, are being subjected to severe violations in Libya in light of the continued political division in the country, the absence of the rule of law, and the diversity of security forces and armed groups without any accountability. These violations Contract Article 14 of the Constitutional Declaration, which guarantees the protection of rights and freedoms, including freedom of opinion, freedom of individual and collective expression, freedom of scientific research, freedom of communication, freedom of the press, media, printing and publishing.
