As part of international cooperation efforts, the Executive Director and the Director of the Strategic Accounting and Prosecution Gateway at the Arab Council met with the legal department at the South African Embassy in The Hague yesterday evening, Friday, November 24th. This meeting aimed to express the Arab Council’s gratitude and profound thanks to the Republic of South Africa for its bold initiative in filing a complaint with the International Criminal Court against the Israeli occupation forces due to the grave violations committed in the Gaza Strip.
The Arab Council team expressed its readiness to provide all necessary arguments, documents, and certificates to support South Africa’s initiative. An agreement was reached to continue coordination to ensure the success of this initiative and hold the Israeli occupation forces accountable for the committed crimes.
The team handed over files prepared by the Arab Council to the Republic of South Africa, related to the complaint filed against Israel in the International Criminal Court. These files shed light on its grave violations in the Gaza Strip.
Through these efforts, we hope to support the just cause of Gaza, seek justice, and emphasize that the grave violations committed against the people of Gaza, especially in Palestine as a whole, must be subject to accountability and justice.
